This comedy night and accompanying silent auction is the team’s main fundraiser. We’ve been doing this for 23 years straight except for a year missed due to COVID.
These are professional comedians out of Boston. We’ve asked them to keep the show suitable for a high school audience or PG-13.
Dave Rattigan
From a field of 150 comedians, Dave Rattigan “passed” at Boston’s famed Comedy Connection on just his 15th time of stage, and has been a fixture on the Boston scene for two-and-a-half decades since then.
His CD has been played on SiriusXM Satellite Radio, as well as AM/FM stations across the country and as far away as Ireland.
He performed multiple times on the syndicated Steve Katsos Show and has performed in commercials for Olympia Sports and iParty that have played on New England regional TV stations. He’s performed in Dublin and Kilkenny, Ireland as well as at the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival (NH), Boston Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival, and Salem Comedy and Spirits Festival.
In 2005, after the birth of his daughter, he founded Scamps Comedy Productions as an alternative to going on the road. It would become a small boutique production company that booked, produced and marketed fund-raisers, and private and public shows in Massachusetts and New England.

Jeff Koen
Jeff Koen is a comedian and actor who stars in the independent film Heavy Times. Released in 2011, the film has earned him fans all over the world, some of which write to his Facebook page and ask if they can stay at his house when they visit the United States. Also, he said, it appears that while he has fans in several countries, he doesn’t have several fans in any country. The website theman-cave.com called Heavy Times, “an original road trip flick unlike any that have come before it.” Another indie film site, Holmans, gave it four stars and called it “Wildly Funny.” Koen performs standup in and around the Boston area and has toured New England theaters as the opening act for Justin McKinney. He’s also performed with the themed standup show How Men Think (Or Do They?) In 2011, he won the first O’Brien’s Comedy Contest in MA, beating out a field of 40 other professional comedians. In 2015 Koen won $10,000 on America’s Funniest Home Videos.
