This comedy night and accompanying silent auction is the team’s main fundraiser. We’ve been doing this for 22 years straight except for a year missed due to COVID.
These are professional comedians out of Boston. We’ve asked them to keep the show suitable for a high school audience or PG-13.
Steve Bjork
He’s come a long way from the nights of frying up mozzarella sticks in the backroom of an obscure comedy club in the Boston suburbs. He was a college student, using that part-time job to study the craft of stand-up comedy by catching glimpses of the performances on stage.
Today, Steve Bjork is a polished veteran of the highly competitive Boston comedy scene with crisscrossing tours of the country under his belt. His material is intelligent; sometimes absurd, and always accessible, but first and foremost funny. What truly sets him apart from the teeming crowd of today’s comedians is that you never have to ask Bjork to work ‘clean’.
Andrew Della Volpe
Andrew Della Volpe is a standup comedian from Boston. He got his start working as an intern at Sacha Baron Cohen’s Four by Two Films and has never considered a straight job since. During the pandemic, he performed small and socially distant driveway comedy shows. Spending the summer performing in backyards all over New England, Andrew was able to play more than 50 shows and was featured on CBS Boston and Mix 104.1’s Karson and Kennedy radio show.
In addition to being a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and working clubs, theaters, and dive bars across New England for the past 5 years, Andrew can now be seen headlining regularly at clubs across New England including The Rex Theatre and most notably the Legendary Nick’s Comedy Stop. Andrew also hosts a weekly show on Tuesdays at one of Boston’s most beloved bars, The Bell in Hand.
Pat Collins
Stand Up Comedian and comedy event booker Pat Collins is based in Norwood, Massachusetts. MA. He books and produces a hilarious show at the British Beer Company Comedy Corner where he performs regularly. He’s also appeared at The Comedy Studio, CBS Comedy Scene and The Comedy Connection RI. He plays at Comedy Nights, Private Parties and Fundraisers all over New England. He recently starred in a series of very funny television commercials for NASCAR and New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
